Shoreview is a city located in Ramsey County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 25,924.
Many Twin Cities-area broadcasters use Shoreview as a site for their transmitting antennas. KMSP channel 9 owns one tower (KMSP TV Tower) reaching 1466 feet (446.8 m) high, shared with WFTC, KTCA/KTCI, and ten FM radio stations. Another pair of towers nearby (Telefarm Towers Shoreview) stand approximately 1437 feet (438 m) tall and are co-owned by WCCO, KARE, and KSTP, and are also used by KMWB. One tower collapsed there in 1971 while under construction, killing seven workers. The KMSP tower also claimed the life of a painter in 2001.

The racial makeup of the city is 93.28% White, 1.01% African American, 0.22% Native American, 3.65% Asian, 0.05% Pacific Islander, 0.44% from other races, and 1.35% from two or more races. 1.33% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
